Only 9 more weeks of Grade 5!!!
Students have been working for the last couple weeks on a “Presentation” in their IGO account. These will be presented to the class on Monday, March 24th. Students have learned some new skills in technology and I look forward to seeing their slideshow.
Students watched the following video about Daylight Savings time and were asked to write about why it happens(we know we don’t change our clocks here). ALso give an opinion if you agree or disagree with changing clocks and give reasons why.
Students were given this assignment along with a planning sheet and had 3 class times to create a Paper Bag Book Talk about any book they have read in Grade 5. This will need to be completed at home and students need to bring their 5 items in the bag and be ready to present on Monday, March 10th. Students will be marked on their speaking during their presentation and their creativity.
I am looking forward to hearing each one!!
